The French rapper Booba’s new brand, DCNTD (pronounced ‘disconnected’), has entrusted its logistics to the service provider Berry Services. At its warehouse in Neuvy-Saint-Sépulchre in the département of the Indre (10,000 m²), from where it manages 15 brands’ logistics, the logistics expert takes delivery of and stores DCNTD products (one hundred clothing and underwear references and other fashion accessories), and prepares and ships its orders to various sales outlets and e-shop customers. Although Berry Services is not a major 3PL in terms of size (its turnover is around €3.5 million), it is distinguished by its considerable experience in ready-to-wear logistics, along with its particular expertise in alterations, personalisation and the processing of returned goods. It was the company’s experience in this field that won over DCNTD, along with the option of being able to alter and improve finishes or bring all types of clothing back up to standard, and of personalising articles (via its embroidery service, for example). This is in line with the philosophy DCNTD displays on its website: “Our products are made using high-quality materials; great attention is paid to detail and to manufacturing standards. We aim to meet your true needs, rather than encourage mindless consumption”.
