The textiles reconditioning expert has got itself a new logo, strengthened its teams and acquired new washing machines.
Berry Services has reinforced its services as a logistics expert for textile retailers and continues to pursue ambitious objectives. The company, whose turnover in 2014 increased by 20%, is acquiring the means to meet these goals. It has adopted new logo with a new slogan "Much more than just logistics". The teams of 48 employees were strengthened following the arrival of Muriel Marange, a former buyer for a number of fashion brands, as sales director.
Specialising in bringing ready-to-wear items into conformity (sorting, cleaning, washing, repairs and sewing), Berry Services heeds the requests of brands and retailers, acquiring new equipment to do so. As such, the company has acquired washing machines with a capacity of 1,000 items per day.
During the finishing phase, after items have been washed and dried, they are finally ironed or uncreased, either in the steam tunnel or on mannequins. “Our core business is ready-to-wear and we differentiate ourselves from traditional services that manage flows, because we add value to products", says Jean-Claude Benéteau, the company's director. Very high-end ironing is one of our strong points for certain big brands who entrust us with their delicate items, for example silk garments”. The company has a 10,000 m² warehouse, of which 3,000 m² are dedicated to repairs. It processes 10 million items per year and takes care of returns processing, adding value to items.
