The SME, a trusted partner of the fashion sector, is planning major investments in the long term to support the growth of its business.
Operating in the fashion sector since its creation at the end of 1998, the Neuvician company has developed certain expertise in the field of compliance, finishing and packaging of fashion items. "Where logisticians only deal with flows, we offer our customers a service that extends from storage to logistics activity, including cleaning, ironing, alterations, finishing, customization, preparation and shipping of orders after a quality control", indicates its president and founder Jean-Claude Benéteau.
With all discretion, Berry Services has thus been able to attract the trust of more than a hundred brands in its client portfolio, including "almost all the ready-to-wear brands".
Successful diversification
Since the end of Covid, Berry Services has diversified its field of action by partnering with the start-up Faume to tackle the second-hand market in stores, with many brands having developed corners or offers of this type. Around twenty of them call on the expertise of the Neuvician SME in this context. "To do this, we invested in the creation of a photo shooting workshop and the training of our staff in its use" smiles the manager, whose bet is proving to be a winner, as proven by a 2023 turnover that has doubled compared to 2019 (€5.5 million compared to €2.78).
Jean-Claude Benéteau is already considering doubling the suspended storage area of his warehouses and automating his clothing conveyance process in a new 10,000 m² building that should be completed by the end of 2026. An investment of €5 million that should ultimately be accompanied by around fifteen new hires.
