Washing furs

On a batch of 4,120 coats from a high-end ready-to-wear brand, the fur on the collars, made of real rabbit fur, contained too much formaldehyde, meaning that the coats could not be sold.

To reduce the formaldehyde content and bring it into compliance with standards, we removed the fur from the coats, washed them with water (without any product), let them dry and put them back on the coats.

This assignment was subject to an extremely short deadline and required more than 500 hours of work.
