Cutting excess fabric

After a control at the reception, the quality department of a French ready-to-wear retailer rejected the delivery of an order of 12,000 knickers from a Turkish lingerie manufacturer. A non-acceptable number of items inspected were poorly finished with uncut excess fabric.

On the recommendation of the retailer, the manufacturer called on Berry Services to bring its order into compliance.

Berry Services collected the goods from the retailer’s warehouse, inspected the 12,000 items in the order and carefully cut the excess fabric on all the poorly finished items.

This service, carried out by experienced staff, required almost 500 hours of work, by 12 operators over five full days.
