A French clothing and footwear retailer asked Berry Services to inspect and bring into compliance a batch of 20,000 knitted cardigans. Many of the items had defects with loose stitches making them unsaleable.
Berry Services collected the whole order at the retailer’s warehouse. The Berry Services teams inspected each and every one of the 20,000 cardigans and where necessary, they pulled the loose stitches in with a hook. On average, two stitches per vest had to be redone. As such, almost all the items in the order were repaired and saved.
Such a service requires the work of experienced operators with a high level of manual know-how. Processing these 20,000 items required more than 1,000 hours of work.
